Luwuk Airport (LUW) is your gateway to the Togean Islands. Most European travelers connect through Jakarta (CGK) or Bali (DPS), and transit in Makassar. Wings Air and Air Asia operate daily flights. Book the flight arriving at 11:25AM to make it to the island on the same day.
- Step 2: Private Car to Ampana (5 hours)
Our driver meets you at Luwuk Airport. The scenic drive through Central Sulawesi takes about 5 hours. We send driver details 24 hours before arrival. Comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle.
- Step 3: Private Boat to Buka Buka (30 min)
Your private boat departs from Ampana harbor. The 30-minute crossing takes you through the stunning Togean archipelago. Arrive at Buka Buka Island for sunset.
- Step 4: Welcome to Reconnect
Arrive at Buka Buka Island for sunset. Our team welcomes you with a cold drink and a warm smile. Dinner will be ready and waiting for you soon after.

Alternative: Overnight in Ampana
If you prefer a more relaxed journey, you can arrive on an evening flight, stay overnight in Ampana, and take the morning boat to Buka Buka Island. We can recommend comfortable hotels.
Note: This adds one extra day to your travel but allows you to start fresh in the morning.
