• Step 1: Fly to Luwuk Airport

  Luwuk Airport (LUW) is your gateway to the Togean Islands. There is no direct flight from Bali or Jakarta to Luwuk — the route is [origin] → Jakarta (CGK) or Bali (DPS) → Makassar (UPG) transit → Luwuk (LUW). Wings Air and AirAsia operate the Makassar → Luwuk leg with daily flights. Book the Makassar → Luwuk flight arriving at 11:25 AM to reach the island the same day.

• Step 2: Private Car to Ampana (5 hours)

  Our driver meets you at Luwuk Airport. The scenic drive through Central Sulawesi takes about 5 hours. We send driver details 24 hours before arrival. Comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle.

• Step 3: Free Boat Shuttle to Buka Buka (30–45 min)

  The free daily shuttle leaves our own jetty in Tete B, Ampana, at 17:00 — timed around the standard same-day arrival. The crossing takes you through the Togean archipelago and you reach Buka Buka Island for sunset. The return shuttle leaves the island at 10:00. Free both ways, every guest, no minimum stay.

• Step 4: Welcome to Reconnect

  Arrive at Buka Buka Island for sunset. Our team welcomes you with a cold drink and a warm smile. Dinner will be ready and waiting for you soon after.

Transport Cost

Your journey from Luwuk to the island is two legs. The boat leg is now free — the daily shuttle costs nothing, both ways, for every guest, with no minimum stay. The only paid leg is the car: IDR 1,000,000 per car, each way, for up to 4 passengers.

  Air-conditioned private vehicle, pickup at Luwuk Airport (LUW), drives directly to our own jetty in Ampana (Tete B village). The return costs the same again.

  Free, both ways, for every guest · no minimum stay · ~30–45 min crossing from our own jetty in Tete B, Ampana.

  Need a boat at another time? That is a private charter at the usual price: IDR 1,000,000 for the standard open-deck boat (max 8 pax, daytime only) or IDR 1,500,000 for the Pegasus speedboat (max 10 pax, enclosed cabin, day and night). Per boat, one way.
